Let Children Lead offers a flexible, inclusive learner support program where children can learn, build confidence, and grow alongside peers of all abilities.

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, engaged, and connected. Our learning program brings together the welcoming, inclusive environment of We Rock the Spectrum with the developmental expertise of Let Children Lead to create a unique learning experience designed around the whole child.

Rather than a traditional classroom, our program provides individualized learner support, academic tutoring, social opportunities, movement, play, and opportunities to practice skills in a natural environment.

What Makes Our Program Different?

Individualized Learning: Every child learns differently. Our tutors work with families to support each child’s learning curriculum, learning style, strengths, and areas where they may need additional support.

Children may receive support with:

* Homework and homeschool assignments

Learning Through Play & Movement: At We Rock the Spectrum, movement and play are part of the environment—not something children have to wait for during a scheduled recess.

Children have opportunities to learn through hands-on activities, sensory experiences, movement, creative play, and peer interaction. Because sometimes the best way to learn is to move, explore, and play.

An Inclusive Environment: Our program welcomes children with a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

Children have opportunities to learn alongside peers while developing important skills such as:

Therapy & Learning Can Work Together: Families who choose to participate in services through Pathways To Play Pediatric Therapy may have the opportunity to coordinate educational and therapeutic goals. Our pediatric therapy services may include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Behavioral Therapy. When appropriate and with parent permission, therapists and educational staff can collaborate to help children practice skills across environments.

Families remain responsible for their child’s education and curriculum, while our program provides additional educational support, tutoring, enrichment, and opportunities for children to learn and practice skills in an engaging environment.

Financial Assistance may be available for tutoring services:
*ESA+ Program: The Disabilities Grant and Educational Savings Plan is available to homeschool students regardless of income. www.ncseaa.edu  This is different from the Opportunity Scholarship.
